Mr. David Hazels brings over 30 years of global experience in public accounting, transaction advisory, and financial leadership with leading international firms, including 18 years as a Partner. He serves as Head of Finance and Operations to the Critical Minerals Platform, supporting the financial architecture required to scale complex, multi-jurisdictional infrastructure and materials operations.
He has led large-scale advisory practices spanning transactions, due diligence, risk management, technology modernization, and operational transformation. His prior leadership roles include National Managing Partner of Grant Thornton LLP’s U.S. Advisory practice and Global Off shoring operations, where he oversaw financial systems, operational integration, and global delivery structures supporting audit, tax, and advisory services. Within the Critical Minerals platform, Mr. Hazels is responsible for capitalization strategy, financial structuring, and integration of operating entities under the parent company framework.
His work supports the consolidation of multiple verticals into Elite, while enabling scalable international expansion through disciplined financial governance and optimized capital deployment. He plays a central role in supporting acquisition strategy, cross-border structuring, cost optimization, and performance alignment across global operations, ensuring that each initiative is supported by institutional-grade financial controls and reporting frameworks. Mr. Hazels also provides oversight on risk management, governance reporting, and investor-facing financial strategy, ensuring alignment between operational execution and capital market expectations as the platform expands internationally.
